The corrosion resistance of stainless steel pipe is very good in atmospheric environment, but it is very easy to pitting corrosion in soil, especially in the soil with high chloride ion content. Therefore, when stainless steel pipe is used as a buried pipe, it must be treated with anti-corrosion.
The buried laying of pipeline is one of many laying methods of water supply and drainage pipeline. The buried pipeline is concealed and safe, does not occupy arable land, does not affect traffic, does not occupy space. When buried below the freezing line, the medium in the pipeline can be prevented from freezing, and the installation cost is relatively low. Therefore, when the outdoor pipeline environment allows, the buried pipeline is generally adopted.
There are three requirements for buried laying: anti-corrosion, elevation gradient and compactness. The buried laying of water supply and drainage pipeline needs to fully consider the characteristics of its pipes and the shortcomings of clear buried corrosion. The main disadvantages of buried pipeline laying are: it is not easy to find pipeline leakage, it is not easy to overhaul, and inspection wells are required when installing valves and instruments. The buried pipeline is easy to be affected by the uneven geological settlement, and it is also very inconvenient to maintain once the end of the pipeline breaks or the problems are not easy to find.
According to the requirements of the drawings, the steel pipe shall be coated with epoxy coal tar pitch paint and glass fiber cloth, and coated with finish paint for corrosion protection.
Outer wall construction process: pipe rust removal → primer application → first finishing coat → second finishing coat → wrapping glass cloth → finishing coat → finishing coat
Inner wall construction process: pipe rust removal → primer application → first finishing coat → second finishing coat → third finishing coat
Stainless steel pipes can be buried, but anti-corrosion measures must be taken. The anti-corrosion method is the same as that of galvanized pipe or seamless steel pipe. Generally, three oil and two cloth, 3PE, epoxy resin and other anti-corrosion methods are used.
